Stages for Match of March 17, 2007
Stages 1 and 2 will be shot on one set targets. Stages 3 and 4 will be shot on another set of targets.
Stage 1
"Swan River Saloon"
(with apologies to the movie Rustler's Rhapsody)
Ammo Count:
Rifle - 8 rounds
Pistol - 10 rounds
Shotgun - 4+ rounds

Rifle - 4 rectangles or circles
Pistol - 3 circles
Shotgun -4 diamond knockdown shotgun targets

Story: You walk into the Swam River Saloon in your best "B" Western outfit and order a warm glass of tonsil balm, when the local riff raff start giving you a hard time about your fringed jacket, sequined shirt and your Charo pants! You take umbridge at their remarks and proceed to shoot the guns out of their hands. .......... and yes you're that good.
Start: Start holding your glass mug of "double restified busthead". Six-guns are loaded with 5 rounds each, hammer down on the empty cylinder. Rifle is staged in the gun rack and loaded with 8 rounds with action closed on the empty chamber. Shotgun also staged in the gun rack, action opened and empty.
At the Beep: Put down your mug and pick up your rifle and engage the 4 rifle targets R1-R4 with 2 rounds each. Place open and empty rifle back in rack. Draw your 1st pistol and engage the 3 pistol targets P1-P3 with 1 round in P1, 3 rounds in P2 and 1 round in P3. Holster and draw 2nd pistol. Engage the pistol targets now with 2 rounds in P1, 1 round in P2 and 2 rounds in P3. Holster 2nd pistol, pick up your shotgun and engage the 4 knock down shotgun targets SG1-SG4 from either left or right. SG targets must go down , so take some extra rounds.
Stage 2
"Swan River Saloon - Redux or Redo"

Story: You're back at the Swan River Saloon (you like their vanilla egg cream soda with a tequila chaser) when you yell "Hands on your hats, the drinks are on me". Well, a bunch of them fellers thought you said "hands up" and start to go for their guns. Yes.... you have to shoot the guns out of their hands... again.
Start: Start with your hands on the brim of your hat. Six-guns are loaded with 5 rounds each, hammer down on the empty cylinder. Rifle is staged in the gun rack and loaded with 8 rounds with action closed on the empty chamber. Shotgun also staged in the gun rack, action opened and empty.
At the Beep: Jerk your pistol(s) and Nevada sweep the 3 pistol targets P1-P3 left to right. Holster the 1st pistol, draw the 2nd and Nevada sweep the pistol targets now from right to left. Holster 2nd pistol, pick up your rifle and sweep the 4 rifle targets R1-R4 twice in either direction plus you can if you want, double tap the 4th target and sweep in the other direction (spotters and timer RO watch for a Nevada sweep, 8th round can be used to pick up the 4th target). Place empty rifle back in rack, pick up your shotgun and engage the 4 shotgun targets SG1-SG4 from either direction. They must go down.
Stage 3
The Great Northfield Bank Robbery
Your enjoying your morning coffee in Northfield, Minnesota when you see several masked men enter the bank. It�s the James -
Younger gang.. You shout �The banks being robbed!� grab your guns and with other citizens run to the bank to stop the robbery.
A gunfight ensues and when your guns are empty only two robbers are left standing. You reload your rifle and shoot one, the other
makes a break for it and you cut him down.
Rifle - 10 rounds loaded with hammer down on empty chamber staged in gun rack. 2 more rounds on your person for a reload.
Pistols- 5 rounds loaded in each with the hammer down on an empty chamber, holstered.
Shotgun - action open staged on the gun rack with 2 + rounds available on your person,.
TARGETS
Two shotgun poppers.
Three pistol.
Four rifle plus a knockdown popper which releases the moving target.
To start the clock shout �The banks being robbed�!
At the buzzer grab your shotgun and shoot the two shotgun targets L - R.
Draw your first revolver and shoot the three pistol targets with one shot on the left target, three on the middle target and one on the
right target.
Holster and draw your other pistol, shoot the three pistol targets two on the left target, one on the middle target and two on the right
target.
Holster your revolver and grab your rifle. Shoot the four rifle targets in an IRS sweep from left to right. One on first, two on second,
three on third and four on fourth.
Reload two rounds in your rifle and shoot the knockdown target. When the moving target appears shoot it
Ten second bonus if you can drop last outlaw�s body directly into the coffin.
NOTE - the moving target must be shot at before it reaches the target stop.

Stage 5
Gophers!
You�ve planted a nice garden out where the old corral was located and the turnips, carrots
and beans are looking good. You head out to hoe some weeds and whoa and behold the
garden has been invaded by whole passel of gophers! Since you always go heeled you
commence to wipe out gophers.
Under no circumstances do you want to shoot your prize winning punkin. It�s a sure
winner at the county fair and first prize is $20.00. Twenty second penalty for any HIT on
the pumpkin. (only one penalty per stage) Avoid your wife�s tomatoes,. Ten second
penalty for any tomatoes knocked off the plant. Finally, there is the large Morel
mushroom you�ve been saving for that steak you plan to grill Saturday night. Ten point
penalty for knocking over the mushroom.
Pistols loaded 5 rounds each, hammers on empty chamber, holstered. Rifle loaded with
10 rounds hammer on the empty chamber staged on gun rest..
Shotgun open and empty, staged on the rest with six shells to be loaded from your
person.
Start holding the hoe in both hands. Say your line �Eat lead you varmints!� At the buzzer
place the hoe in the gun rack and using the firearms in any order you wish you
commence to shooting gophers. There will be a 5 second penalty for each gopher left
standing when you are done shooting. Once you begin shooting a firearm you must
continue shooting it until all it�s rounds are fired.
A gopher knocked down in any way is a kill. Hits on gophers that do not knock them
down are not kills.
If, after all the gophers are dead you have any rounds left shoot at the long range gong. A
five second bonus for each hit. All shooting must be done standing from within the
rectangle marked on the ground.
Irregardless of what class you are competing in you may shoot the handgun using two
hands.
