Stages may not be shot in the order they are presented on this webpage. Stage 1 "Smokin' Them Out!" From "True Grit" Ned Pepper and his gang expected to arrive shortly looking for a change of horses and a place to spend the night. You've told Mattie Ross and that Texas Jaypopper you intend to let them get into the cabin and shoot the last one through the door to show them you mean business. But Ned is suspicious and the Jaypopper starts shooting before they are inside. You do your best to dehorse as many as you can. Ammo Count: Rifle -10 rounds Pistol - 10 rounds Shotgun - 4+ rounds To start the timer say your line "Damn that Texan!" (need to get proper line) With shotgun shoot the four shotgun targets left to right. With your rifle shoot the KD to release the swinger. Shoot the swinger to drop the weight. Five second bonus for each claybird broken. Shoot the KD to release the roller. Shoot the roller to release the weight. Five second bonus for each claybird broken. Shoot the six KD's with the remaining rifle rounds. Move to position two and shoot handgun targets in a Nevada Sweep from the left changing handguns when needed. Stage 2 "Rustler Rhapsody" The whole gang of "bad guys" have you surrounded. Not wanting to have an unfair advantage you warn them that by having you surrounded they will shoot each other when they begin drawing. They move to a more favorable position but you also must be fair and warn them that if they draw their guns you will have to shoot the guns out of their hands. They find this funny. After the gunplay is finished they are all left holding their gun hand and groaning. Their grins are replaced with grimaces. Ammo Count: Rifle - 10 rounds Pistol - 10 rounds Shotgun - 4+ rounds Rifle and shotgun staged at position 1. To start the clock say your line, "You've Been Warned!" With your rifle shoot the targets off the Texas Star. Five second bonus for each claybird broken. When all the targets are off the Texas Star shoot as many KD's as you can. Stage your rifle, grab your shotgun and move to position 2. Shoot the two shotgun targets twice, no double taps. Stage your shotgun in the rack and with your handguns knock down the rest of the KD's. When all the KD's are down shoot the small spinning target. No penalty for misses and a 5 second bonus for each time the spinner does a complete flip. Only targets left on the Texas Star or KD's not knocked down will be counted as misses. Stage 3 "Five Card Stud" You've been been on a winning streak and things are going well until that extra ace falls out of your coat sleeve. You decide to depart the scene but the other players object. The fight is on. Ammo Count: Rifle - 10 rounds Pistol - 10 rounds Shotgun - 2+ rounds Before beginning the stage draw a card from the deck of five cards. If you draw an Ace your sequence is to shoot the four suit targets in a clockwise rotation beginning with the card you have turned and put the fifth round on the joker. If you draw the joker your sequence is to shoot the joker first then other four targets in any order. To start the clock say your line "Smile when you say that!" With your shotgun shoot the two shotgun targets left, right. With your rifle shoot the targets as outlined above with your first five rounds. Repeat with the last five rounds. Advance to position 2 and shoot the targets in the same sequence with your handguns. Stage 4 "We Deal In Lead, Friend" (Steve McQueen as Vin to Eli Wallach as Calvera in "The Magnificent Seven", 1960) Ammo Count: Rifle - 10 rounds Pistol - 10 rounds Shotgun - 4+ rounds Stage Set: Pistol - 2 circles and 1 rectangle Rifle - 4 rectangles and 2 knock down "hat" targets Shotgun - 4 knock down shotgun targets. Gun rack Story: Calvera's bandits have ridden into the farm village expecting to take what they want but the villagers have planned a "warm welcome" for them with the guidance of the seven Nort� Americanos. Start: Shotgun and rifle are staged in the shooting rack. Six guns are loaded with 5 rounds. Procedure: To start the timer say "We Deal In Lead, Friend" Starting at position 1 at the beep pick up you rifle and double tap sweep the 4 rifle targets R1, R2, R3 and R4 from either direction. With the last 2 rounds knock the hats off the bandits, R5 and R6 (a 5 second bonus for each hat knocked over, no bonus for hitting the square part of the target and the hat falls over). Put rifle back in rack, grab your shotgun and move to position 2. Stage your shotgun on the rack and draw 1st pistol and shoot the 3 pistols targets P1-P3 in a 2-1-2 sweep from left to right. Holster and draw 2nd pistol and sweep the 3 pistols targets right to left in a 2-1-2 sweep. With your shotgun shoot the four shotgun targets from either direction. Stage 5 "We Deal In Lead, Too!" (Eli Wallach as Calvera back to Steve McQueen as Vin in "The Magnificent Seven", 1960) Ammo Count: Rifle - 10 rounds Pistol - 10 rounds Shotgun - 4+ rounds Stage Set: Pistol - 2 circles and 1 rectangle Rifle - 4 rectangles and 2 knock down "hat" targets Shotgun - 4 knock down shotgun targets. Story: The bandits have snuck back into the farmer's village and surprise the Seven. Calvera sends them off with a promise to return their guns if they don't come back. What do you think the Magnificent Seven would do? Start: Shotgun and rifle are staged in the shooting rack. Six guns are loaded with 5 rounds. Procedure: To start the timer repeat James Coburn's line "Nobody Takes My Guns, Nobody" At the beep, pick up you shotgun and knock down the 4 shotgun targets SG1-SG4. Return shotgun to rack, pick up your rifle and Obama sweep the 4 rifle targets R1-R4, starting on the left. Reload two in your rifle and shoot the hats off the last two fleeing bandits. Five second bonus if the hats fall over, even if resulting from a hit on the rectangular target. No penalty for a miss, Return rifle to rack. Advance to position 2, draw your 1st pistol and Nevada sweep the 3 pistol targets P1-P3 starting on the left. Holster and with your 2nd pistol Nevada sweep the pistol targets starting on the right.
