Match Stages April 16, 2011 Stage 1 "Rowdies From Up North" Ammo Count: Rifle - 10 rounds Pistol - 10 rounds Shotgun - 4+ rounds Stage Set: Rifle - 3 targets Pistol - 3 targets Shotgun - 4 knockdown targets That bunch of rowdies from Eureka is in town again drinking, carousing and shooting up the bar. It's time to put an end to this foolishness once and for all. Starting at Position 1 with your shotgun at port arms start the timer by saying your line: "Get outa town or you're dead!" Procedure: On the signal, load shotgun and shoot the 2 shotgun targets SG1 and SG2. Move to Position 2 stage your shotgun. With the rifle, triple tap the rifle targets R1-R3 and then the last round on R2. Draw first pistol and shoot the pistol targets P1, P3, P2, P2, P2 . Repeat with the second pistol. Pick up the shotgun and move to Position 3 and shoot the two shotgun targets SG3 and SG4. ![]() "5 for 5" Rifle - 10 Pistol - 10 rounds Shotgun - 4 rounds Stage Set: Rifle - "Texas Star" and box Pistol - 5 circles Shotgun - 2 re-setting pepper poppers 1 gun stand for shooting position. Story: Those Hellgate boys are at it again. They've been "borrowing" my cattle and forgetting to return them. The horses are disappearing and the sheep are acting flirty! What's a cowboy to do? Start: rifle and shotgun are staged in the gun rack. Your pistols are holstered and arms folded in front. Procedure: To start the timer, exclaim "Where's my cows?" At the beep, draw your pistol and engage the 5 pistol targets P3, P2, P4, P1 and P5. With the second pistol engage the pistol targets P1, P5, P2, P4, P3. Pick up your rifle and shoot the targets off the Texas Star. Two second bonus for any targets dropped into the box. Dump any remaining rifle rounds on the dump target. Misses do count. Place rifle back in rack, pick up your shotgun and alternate the two shotgun targets SG1 and SG2 for 4 rounds, no double taps. For the Texas Star only targets left on the target will be counted as misses. ![]() Stage 3 "Play for your Life" from "A Few Dollars More" Rifle - 10 rounds Pistol - 10 rounds Shotgun - 4+ rounds Stage Set: Rifle - 4 rectangles Pistol - playing card targets plus joker Shotgun - 2 resetting shotgun targets Four Ace Cards plus Joker Rifle staged at position 1, shotgun at position 2. Story: Your a bounty killer and have tracked down your quarry at the poker table in The Gem in Deadwood. You walk up to the poker table, pick up the deck of cards and deal each of you five cards. You each show your hands and he looses. He then asks what the stakes were. To start the timer say your line "Your life!" From position 1 With your rifle shoot the four rifle targets in a left to right (close to far) IRS sweep. Stage your rifle and move to position 2. Turn over one of the five cards on the table. Call out the suit of the card so the spotters can hear you. The card you turn determines how you shoot the handguns. If you turn an ace with your first handgun engage all of the four card suit targets beginning and ending with the target corresponding to the suit you turned. Repeat with the second handgun. Do not shoot the joker. If you draw the joker shoot the joker first then the other four targets. Repeat with the second handgun. Story: You've been working your claim in the Little Rockies, trying to scratch out enough pay dirt to buy a bit of tonsil balm at the local watering hole when you catch a couple of men "high grading" on your claim. You flip open your stash of shot shells and send those bad men from Zortman running. Start: Shotgun staged on table at position 2, shot shells are placed in the box (put extras too). Procedure: Starting at position 1 with rifle at port arms. To start the timer yell "Don't jump my Claim". Shoot the three rifle targets R1 - R3 with 4 rounds on the center target R2, followed by 3 rounds on the left and right targets R1 and R3 with 3 rounds for a total of ten. Move with your rifle to Position 2 and stage the rifle on the table. Draw 1st pistol and engage the 3 pistol targets P1-P3 with an Arizona sweep, 5 rounds on 3 targets. Pick up your shotgun and from the box on the table load your shotgun. Knock down the Shotgun targets SG1- SG4 (must go down). Place open and empty shotgun on the table. Move to position 3 and engage the now pistol targets the same as with the first pistol. ![]() Stage 5 "Comancheros!" From "The Comancheros" starring Duke Wayne Rifle - 10 rounds Pistol - 10 rounds Shotgun - 4+ rounds Rifle staged at position one, shotgun at position 2. The Comancheros, Indians and white men riding together, are attacking your post. You grab your guns and run out to fight them off. To indicate shooter is ready say: "Comancheros!". At the Buzzer use your rifle and shoot the targets off the Polish Plate Rack. Ten second bonus if you knock off all ten targets without dropping the end weights. Stage your rifle at position 1 and move to position 2. With your shotgun shoot the KD flipper and with the second shot shoot the aerial target. Repeat with second target. (if flippers not available, shoot the two resetting shotgun targets left, right, left right.) Use your handguns to shoot the three handgun targets with two left to right Nevada sweeps. ![]() Home |
