First Match of 2007
We were pleased to have 12 shooters show up along with several people interested in finding out
what Cowboy Action Shooting was all about.
We want to thank I.C. Poorly for providing the chili and fixins. Badger Claw for his corn bread and Ol Mule Skinner's
wife for the huckleberry cake.
It turned out to be a beautiful day with temps in the 50s and sunshine.
Sage Creek Gus's rolling target on stage two performed flawlessly and was a real challenge. Only Hector Hades, Miles
City Slim, and
Parson Larsson were able to drop the final bank robber directly into the coffin.
Hector Hades had to leave before stage 4 was fired.
Stage Three was the gophers stage. As usual it produced the usual amount of frustration. Sage Creek Gus was able to
kill a gopher, have it make two complete revolutions and land back on it's feet alive and kicking. Badger Claw was
very impressive
by
not only killing all the gophers but earning 30 bonus points.
